Retiring Stamp Set Update

CTMH has updated the policy on retiring stamp sets.  The policy used to state that all stamps would be available for 1 year from the date it was first introduced.  The new policy will be that all stamp sets will be available while it is pictured in an active idea book.  This means that stamps shown in the Annual Inspiration catalog will be available until August 31, 2016.  Stamps in the Seasonal Expressions I and II will be available until April 30, 2016.  

Stampaganza is the perfect time to grab the stamp sets you've been wanting but haven't yet purchased.  

Studio J Update

Studio J will be discontinuing at the end of April :(  Demand for online scrapbooking has declined and CTMH has made the decision to discontinue their online program.  If you have layouts you've been working on don't forget to go in and complete them and get them ordered BEFORE April 30, 2016.  It appears that the current paper supply will last through the end of April however if demands suddenly increase Studio J layout orders are "While Supplies Last".

March/April CTMH News

Reminder:  March is the last month you can order from the Seasonal Expressions I catalog.  Don't forget to order Heartstrings or Hopscotch paper before it's gone!  Any item in the catalog with a clock next to the title of it will expire Mach 31st at 11:59pm Mountain Time.  You can email me your order and place it directly on my website.  

March Constant Campaign

March is Recruiting on a Roll Month.

Seasonal Expressions 2 Open House

Come get your FREE Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog and see what great new things are in the catalog!  This is an informal fun gathering where you can see the two new papers available along with a few embellishments and stamp sets, eat a snack, make a card and just relax and have fun.  Tickets will be given out for coming to the open house, placing an order, bringing a friend and more.  Tickets will give you the chance to earn prizes.  Prizes will be free product, free hostess rewards and more.  Stop in for 5 minutes or 2 hours.

Kids Card Class

Kids of all ages can join in some stamping fun.  Each child will be making 4 different cards.  They will be hand stamped and ready to send or give away to a special someone.  We will make a Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthday and Thank You card.  I will post a picture soon of the cards we'll be making.  Class will include envelopes and a snack :-)

November Crop Till You Drop

I know it's early to think about November when we're just starting to get into spring but I wanted to make sure I was able to reserve a room for a November.  Join us in November for cropping on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.  It's a great way to get some relaxing in before the busy holiday season.

To ensure I have enough space for everyone please let me know if you plan to attend.  I currently have 11 people coming and will need more space if others would like to join us.  

Date:  Friday November 13 - Saturday November 14

Time:  3pm Friday - 10pm Saturday

Cost:  $25 for Friday, $45 for Saturday or $55 for both days.  

Location:  Homewood Suites in Brighton, MI  

You can reserve a room and spend the night or travel back and forth.  The cropping room will be locked overnight so all supplies can be left in the room.  There will be a project and some give aways.  No food will be provided.  

I hope to see all there and make progress on your scrapbooks!   

 

Happy February

Hello All!  Ok so it's 12 days into February already but I've finally gotten a few minutes to put together the newsletter this month. 


Album Allure

February is all about Albums.  Purchase any album and get another album at HALF price!  This is the time to stock up on beautiful ablums to store all of your materpiece layouts.  We have two beautiful prints (Ruby floral and Lagoon Chevron) and solids too.  We also have D-ring and post-bound.  

I'm using the D-ring for holding my layouts before I put them into a permanent album.  This makes its easy to add pages to the middle without taking apart the post bound.  The post bound albums allows the two halves of the my layout to lay close together when viewing which I enjoy.  If you prefer the ease of the D-ring they are perfect for permanent storage too.  Easy to add layouts to any location!  Check out all the options on my website.

Newsletters

1.  All of you should have received an email from Close To My Heart asking you to verify your email address in order to continue to receive the monthly newsletter.  Be sure to check your junk mail to see if it got stuck in there and then click to verify.  This will allow you to receive the latest news from CTMH, including monthly specials.   

2.  The CTMH newsletters will be changing and I don't yet know exactly what they are going to look like.  To ensure I keep all of my customers informed I am going to be sending out a monthly newsletter through my Google Group.  I will post the information here in the Newsletter Blog as well.  You can bookmark this site so you have all the information easily accessible.

 National Papercrafting Month

Holiday Card Class

It's time to think about holiday cards already!  I know it seems early but it's mid October and we all know how quickly the next couple of months go by.  This year, as in past years, I'm hosting a Holiday Card Class.  Each person will make 31 cards in a couple of hours!  Just think...all your holiday cards can be done in one afternoon!  Bring stamps and address labels and you can have them ready to mail too!  

This year we will be using the Pear & Partridge Picture My Life cards.  This will make for super fast and lots of variety in the card making.  Each person will get the following as part of the holiday card class:

- 31 cards from Pear & Partridge Picture My Life
- 31 card bases
- 31 envelopes
- Colored cardstock as shown in pictures (precut)
- 1 package Gold Polka-Dot Washi Tape
- 1 package EITHER Sparkles Clear Assortment OR Sequins Gold Assortment - You choose when you sign up for the class.  (Cards shown with sequins below.)


You will have extra Washi tape to use on other projects.  The cards are shown below.  You will make 1 of each of the cards shown in the first picture and 10 of the 15 cards shown in the second picture.  The send set will be a random assortment.  All paper will be precut so all you have to do is assemble! 

Class Details:  Sunday, November 30   2-4pm,  Cost is $45, Please bring Adhesive of your choice.  RSVP:  Sunday Oct 26 if you plan to attend.

If you would like to make more than one set the cost will be $37 (you will only need 1 package of Washi tape to make twice the number of cards).
