(Ok for those checking in before Jan 1 it's not quite Happy New Year but pretend)  :-)  

I have lots of news to share from Close To My Heart for take a few minutes to catch up for January.  

Newsletters

1.  All of you should have received an email from Close To My Heart asking you to verify your email address in order to continue to receive the monthly newsletter.  Be sure to check your junk mail to see if it got stuck in there and then click to verify.  This will allow you to receive the latest news from CTMH, including monthly specials.   

2.  The CTMH newsletters will be changing and I don't yet know exactly what they are going to look like.  To ensure I keep all of my customers informed I am going to be sending out a monthly newsletter through my Google Group.  I will post the information here in the Newsletter Blog as well.  You can bookmark this site so you have all the information easily accessible.

To start the year off right January will have TWO specials!!!  

 National Papercrafting Month

Celebrate National Papercrafting Month with Close To My Heart with the Noted paper kit. Purchase $50 in CTMH products and for $5 you can get the Noted paper kit.  For an additional $5 you can get the Kraft Mini Alubm with your paper kit.  The kit is a fun way to celebrate 2015.  You can put together a mini album of the things you love the most , your accomplishments and many other highlights in 2015.  You can decorate with the included stamp set and foil stickers.  After your album is complete you can seal the album shut with a large foil seal and set it aside to be open several years from now....a fun

Holiday Card Class

It's time to think about holiday cards already!  I know it seems early but it's mid October and we all know how quickly the next couple of months go by.  This year, as in past years, I'm hosting a Holiday Card Class.  Each person will make 31 cards in a couple of hours!  Just think...all your holiday cards can be done in one afternoon!  Bring stamps and address labels and you can have them ready to mail too!  

This year we will be using the Pear & Partridge Picture My Life cards.  This will make for super fast and lots of variety in the card making.  Each person will get the following as part of the holiday card class:

- 31 cards from Pear & Partridge Picture My Life
- 31 card bases
- 31 envelopes
- Colored cardstock as shown in pictures (precut)
- 1 package Gold Polka-Dot Washi Tape
- 1 package EITHER Sparkles Clear Assortment OR Sequins Gold Assortment - You choose when you sign up for the class.  (Cards shown with sequins below.)


You will have extra Washi tape to use on other projects.  The cards are shown below.  You will make 1 of each of the cards shown in the first picture and 10 of the 15 cards shown in the second picture.  The send set will be a random assortment.  All paper will be precut so all you have to do is assemble! 

Class Details:  Sunday, November 30   2-4pm,  Cost is $45, Please bring Adhesive of your choice.  RSVP:  Sunday Oct 26 if you plan to attend.

If you would like to make more than one set the cost will be $37 (you will only need 1 package of Washi tape to make twice the number of cards).

EMBOSSING IS BOSS!

During the month of February everyone has the chance to get the new embossing
folders for FREE!  Purchase two cardstock single color packs (not
including white, colonial white or kraft) or multi-color packs or a
combination of the two and you get to pick any of the new 5 embossing
folders.  There is no limit to the number of folders you can get so
stock up on cardstock today.  


The folders are the larger size (5"x7") and on the fold side have an open
slit to allow you to make a continuous embossing pattern for strips of
paper 4 1/4" and narrower.  Check out the video above and see the
